Beesia calthifolia

Evergreen glossy leaves that look all the world like an asarum, but with flowers much more like a thalictrum or cimicifuga. Hailing from China, this will make a nice groundcover over time. We have friends in Michigan growing this so it is zone 5 hardy, probably benefiting from a little mulching and coddling the first year. This has a lot of potential and should make an amazing addition the woodland garden. Zones 5-8
