Large finger leafed Rogersia, with 5 to 7 leaflets with deep jagged lobes at the tip, coarsely toothed at the margin. In the spring the leaves are glossy reddish bronze later turning brown and eventually green. The deeply sunken veins and very crinkled. The flower buds are red giving way to rich dark pink flowers. Flower stalks can be 24" to 36" Very good plant for Hosta gardens as it adds a whole new texture. Prefers evenly moist soils, but not water logged. Deep rich humus soil will generate largest plants. Will tolerate sun if well watered. Zone 4
