Arisaema consanguineum silver certered form

A favorite here at the nursery. An imposing plant at maturity with a parasol of radiate leaves (up to 14 of varying widths) on a plant to over 3.5'. Our plants originated from Ellen Hornig of Seneca Hill Perennials and are offset bulbs. Under the leaves is a purple-green spathe that makes a sharp u-turn towards the ground upon pollination. These will clump up in a hurry and create quite a tropical appearance in the last summer garden as these do not usually emerge until July. Although usually listed as zone 6, they have done well in our zone 5/6 garden for over 10 years. We have found Arisaema consanguineum to be quite tolerant of sun and will tend to lean a bit in more shade.

We will try to provide the biggest tubers of these we can but in some cases, they can be probably a year or so from blooming as they were collected offsets.
