Arisaema consanguineum

Part to full sun for this easy-to-grow and garden-worthy jack, probably one of our favorites along with all the named forms of this species (thanks to Ellen Hornig at Seneca Hill Perennials). the radial leaves with up to and over 12 leaflets (some with long drip tips), have a hood that ends in a dramatic long drip tip hanging down over the spathe. The leaves are very interesting and widely spaced horizontally above the stalk. The flower is usually purple or green. Emerges later than most, in most years we don't see ours until late June. Zone 5-8
